At some point, you’ll want to export your music from Live. There are a lot of options for exporting audio that we’ll cover in this next video.
Tip: You can only export audio from Arrangement View. However, you can easily drag/ drop audio or MIDI clips straight from your Ableton project to your computer desktop, or a folder on your computer! (Thanks Ableton)
I encourage you to take your music wherever you go, while working on tracks. I export my music and upload to Dropbox, (it’s free) and then listen to it on my phone while at the gym or driving in my car. This helps me get inspired with new musical ideas, and I hear things I didn’t notice before. Then I’ll go back and make changes later in the project.
