      Would love to learn how to recreate various instruments and audio effects I hear. How can I get better at this?

      Nice! Any specific instruments in mind? music genres?

      I’ve learned the better you know sound design, the easier it becomes to recreate instruments. Great suggestion man!

        Yes, here are some:

        Carlos D’s bass on early Interpol recordings.
        Joey Santiago’s guitar solo sound for Pixies.
        A slew of dnb sounds from Noisia and Ivy Lab.

        Yes, so I’d love to learn sound design tips. How do you think about decomposing the sounds you hear? Or if you wanted to try to replicate the sound, what’s the order in which you try to build the sound up piece by piece?

      Loved the Michael Wall session, wished I could have joined it live to ask questions, but thanks for making it happen and for recording it.

      Audio to MIDI is really powerful. It was fantastic to hear some of Michael’s workflow and ideas.
