I’d like to have various templates ready to work on in various genres, from post-punk to dnb to orchestral scores, so that I don’t get distracted auditioning kick drums when I’m trying to get ideas sketched. What are some best practices for assembling useful templates? Are there places to download other people’s sets to reuse as templates?
Yes! I highly recommend checking out WeMakeDanceMusic.com. They have thousands of templates in a variety of genres you should check out. We will likely be working with them soon, so stay tuned for more details on this 🙂
Would definitely like to have some different templates and genres of fully produced tracks. Maybe you can hook us up with discounts from We Make Dance Music and other project selling websites?
Hey @nswitanek! just wanted to let you know we’ve added a few new Ableton Templates to the Downloads page and will continue to add more. Thought you might be interested 🙂 only Basic and Pro members can access these. Let us know any specific types of genres or whatever you want in the future!
